Michelle Zhou graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with a Master’s degree in Translation and Bilingual Communication. During her studies, she was selected for an internship in Sydney as well as an exchange program in Taiwan. She also participated in the 10th Hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities by presenting a paper on Chinese ancient poetry translation. After graduation, she joined her professor’s leading translation project and published more than 60,000 English chapters in Chinese.

Michelle later joined a Financial Group as a Principle Consultant and Senior Translator, responsible for client financial projects and English-Chinese interpretation. She’s currently in charge of translation for copywriting, branding, marketing, advertising, and public relations at DSIGN.

Michelle’s linguistic skills and her experience of working in several countries have given her a clear and deep understanding of brand, culture, and business, and she successfully articulates DSIGN’s client brands across target demographic groups.
